Situated on the edge of Hay-on-Wye which is well known as a historic market town on the English/Welsh border, renowned for its iconic castle and as the "Town of Books," and for hosting the famous Hay Festival. The town offers a good range of local amenities, including supermarkets, doctor and dental surgeries, a primary school, a library, post office and a variety of shops, galleries, public houses, cafรฉs, and restaurants. Situated on the banks of the River Wye, Hay-on-Wye is also a gateway to the Brecon Beacons National Park and is close to the Black Mountains, providing numerous opportunities for outdoor activities and exploration. The larger towns of Hereford (20 miles) and Brecon (15 miles) offer an even wider range of social, shopping and leisure facilities.
Walk Inside
From the stable door you enter an inviting Sitting/Dining Room with a wood burner set in a feature stone inglenook fireplace with alcoves either side and shelving on one site. The room is part panelled and has a tiled floor. From this room you enter the Kitchen with a flagstone floor, fitted worktops, cupboards and drawers.
