What a start to our calendar of sales for 2025, an excellent catalogue of quality items covering a wide range of lots.
We were able to offer several lots of studio pottery from private individuals which created lots of interest with many lots selling from £400 – £1,400 this type of pottery is extremely popular at the moment.
Lot 26 was an earthenware dairy bowl complete with a cast inglenook pan, the dairy bowls rarely come to sale and spirited bidding led to a final figure of £1,050.
Ceramics and accessories sold from £520 – £720 again with lots of on-line bidders.
Our picture section received a watercolour by James Dickson Innes 1887 – 1914 a water colour of Kidwelly castle signed lots of on-line and phone bids culminated in a figure of £2,800.
A lovely selection of Elizabeth Full Sovereigns sold from £420 – £460
Silver ware always popular sold to £500 for a George V teapot. Gold items on offer realised £800 for lot 293 a Victorian Bracelet. A gold signet ring 20g sold to £850,Pair of 18ct cufflinks 14g @ £600,a Victorian Bracelet & sovereign combined @ £1,900,Necklet chain 51g sold to £950.
