FETF 2026 Applications
Applications now open and close 28th April 2026 at Midday.

3 grant themes available to help you buy items that will:
๐Ÿ’ก Improve Productivity
๐Ÿ’ก Manage Slurry
๐Ÿ’ก Improve animal Health & Welfare
(Each theme has a ยฃ1,000 – ยฃ25,000 cap, you can apply for more than one theme up to a combined limit of ยฃ75,000. Only one application per theme per business is permitted)

To apply you must be:
๐ŸŒพ A farmer (of dairy cattle/beef cattle/sheep/pigs/laying chickens/broiler chickens)
๐ŸŒพ Horticulturalist
๐ŸŒพ Forestry owner
๐ŸŒพ A contractor carrying out services for the above fields.

All items brought through the fund must:
๐Ÿ„ New or ex-display (with stipulations)
๐Ÿ„ If an item meets 2 or more specification requirements, you can only get funding for one specification
๐Ÿ„ Items are expected to last 5 years from the claim paid date
If successful you will receive around 40% or 50% towards either the cost of the item or the average cost of the item.
Funding will be allocated to highest scoring applications first. An items score can be found in the specification list next to the item.

Getting ahead starts now:
โ€ผ๏ธ Read through the specification items to find items that suit you and your businesses needs using the FETF 2026

โ€ผ๏ธ Check you have the correct permissions to apply (including being registered with the Rural Payments service with a SBI number)
โ€ผ๏ธ Register with the Farming Investment Fund Service (this is where you complete your application)
โ€ผ๏ธ Do not order or buy anything at this stage (unless you are paying with a refundable deposit โ€“ read the specification before putting down a deposit)
โ€ผ๏ธ Read the FETF 2026 terms and conditions FETF 2026 T&C’s
โ€ผ๏ธ Ensure your contact details match what is registered with the Rural Payments service, separate correspondence is no longer allowed.
โš ๏ธ FETF 2026 is competitive and funding is not guaranteed !

๐Ÿ“… If successful with your application, you must submit your claim by midday 20th January 2027.
