McCartneys Equine Department

McCartneys Horse and Pony Department has been in existence for many years, originally through its sales at Brecon Market. The department has grown significantly over recent years with regular monthly sales in Brecon Market attracting around 200 entries from all sections.

Sales at Worcester Market run from April to September and include a saddlery auction.

The company act as official Auctioneers for both the Shetland Pony Stud Book Society (SPSBS) and the Welsh Pony & Cob Society (WPCS). The SPSBS hosts its annual show and sale each October in Worcester, drawing approximately 300 entries, while the WPCS Official Autumn Sale, held at the Royal Welsh Showground, typically attracts between 500 and 600 entries.

We also offer services including Stud Dispersals, Reduction Sales, Insurance Valuations, Disputes and General Sales.

MartEye App

We use the online sales platform MartEye as our form of online bidding & livestreaming for our equine sales both at Brecon Market & Worcester Market.
