“Across our Brecon and Worcester markets, plus our Official Society Sales for the Welsh Pony & Cob Society and the Shetland Pony Stud-Book Society, we continue to provide trusted marketplaces for vendors and buyers from across the UK and beyond. In 2025 we saw excellent clearance rates, competitive bidding, and a steady rise in both vendor and purchaser numbers, clear signs that our horse and pony sales remain a leading fixture in the British equine calendar.ย For 2026, we aim to build further on that success, offering monthly opportunities to trade quality horses and ponies, supported by experienced staff, strong advertising reach and consistent buyer demand.
With a strong reputation for well-managed, well-attended, and commercially effective sales, we look forward to welcoming both returning and new clients throughout 2026. Saturday saw a very busy market with strong entries and a lively crowd of bidders. Foals were forward in large numbers for our Traditional Fair Day Sale and met a trade that exceeded many vendorsโ expectations. The Shetlands were the highlight, with 140 sold and consistently strong demand. Larger horses and ridden types were fewer in number but remain highly sought after.
Sundayโs sale of Registered Welsh horses and ponies also enjoyed a good trade, from mountain ponies through to performance animals.
Overall, it was another highly successful Fair Day Sale, with average prices remaining above those seen last year. Our sincere thanks go to all vendors and buyers for their continued support, and a special thank you to the staff for their hard work throughout the weekend.
