Cull Ewes & Rams: A well-attended section of the market with a strong buyer base from the ethnic trade and processed meat sectors, providing reliable returns for draft stock throughout the season.

Monthly Store Cattle & Cull Cow Sales

Brecon's monthly store sales have a strong national reputation that the livestock community knows and trusts. Producers from across Powys and the Welsh Borders bring their cattle here because we offer a competitive trade on all types and we are the leading suckler bred store market in the UK.

Suckler-Bred Store Cattle: The Brecon Beacons and surrounding hills are traditional suckler country. Buyers travel to Brecon from all over the UK to buy quality & knowing that the cattle will perform well on any finishing system.

Cull Cows: A strong, well-supported section at every monthly sale, ensuring competitive price discovery for both beef and dairy culls from farms across the region.

Through September and October, Brecon hosts a number of evening sales running on alternate Thursdays. Covering breeding rams, ewes, store lambs, and ewe lambs, these sales provide an additional outlet during the critical autumn trading window.
