Geraint Jones

Geraint joined McCartneys LLP in June 2007 and currently undertakes professional work from the Welshpool, Newtown and Kington Offices.

Geraint is a graduate of the John Moores University of Liverpool with a degree in Building Surveying, a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS). Geraint is also fully qualified to undertake Domestic Energy Assessments and level 3 Commercial Energy Assessments.

Geraint began his surveying career working for RW Solutions in Liverpool undertaking a wide range of Building Surveying matters and specialising in dilapidations. In June 2007 Geraint joined McCartneys as part of the Planning and Survey Department in Kington and has since specialised in all things Building Surveying on residential, commercial and agricultural matters. His other specialisms include Planning Matters, Building Regulations, Domestic and Commercial Energy Assessments and Land surveys.

Geraint is a local lad and is a farmerโ€™s son from Tregynon, where he enjoys helping out on the farm.

Having grown up in the Welshpool area Adam has been working for McCartneys since 2015 with almost 10 years of experience in property sales. He has a real passion for perfection when presenting a property ensuring his clients sell their home for the maximum possible value. Adam is also a qualified mortgage advisor and in his spare time enjoys playing golf, watching football and taking his spaniel Mabel for long countryside walks.

Danielle started her career in estate agency when she joined McCartneys in 2017 after finishing sixth form. Since then she has become a member of the National Association of Estate Agents and a member of the Association of Residential Lettings Agents. Danielle mainly specialises in residential sales and operates the Fine & Country brand throughout Mid Wales. In 2022 Danielle was delighted to be made office manager of the Welshpool office and hopes to continue the success the office has had over recent years alongside the rest of the Welshpool team. Having always lived locally, Danielle has an excellent knowledge of the area. Outside of work, Danielle enjoys spending time with her family and friends, going to the gym and getting out in the countryside.

Katie joined McCartneys in August 2008 following graduating from Harper Adams University College with a First Class Honours Degree in Rural Enterprise and Land Management, and became a Partner of McCartneys in January 2017. Katie is a qualified member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyor (MRICS), RICS Registered Valuer and Fellow of the Central Association of Agricultural Valuers (FAAV). Based between our Knighton and Welshpool offices Katie undertakes Rural Professional work across Mid Wales and the Borders, as well as being an auctioneer at Knighton Livestock Market. Katieโ€™s daily work includes sales and lettings of land, farms and rural property, valuations, landlord and tenant matters, compulsory purchase and compensation matters, Basic Payment Scheme and grant applications, planning appraisals and livestock auctioneering. Katie is a farmerโ€™s daughter originating from Llangunllo, Radnorshire. When young enough Katie was an active member of Young Farmers! She is proud to have held the position of County Chairman of Radnor Federation. Always willing to have a go she has been lucky enough to achieve success in a variety of competitions. Her proudest moments are her stock judging and public speaking successes with memorable moments including winning the Welsh Black cattle judging and dairy Holstein judging at the Royal Welsh Show, the Butchers Lambs judging at the Royal Welsh Show Winter Fair, twice winning Radnor YFC Senior Stockman of the Year and being a member of the winning Radnor YFC Senior debating team at Wales and representing the county at National. Outside of work she enjoys helping on the family farm.

Geraint Jones

Geraint joined McCartneys LLP in June 2007 and currently undertakes professional work from the Welshpool, Newtown and Kington Offices.

Geraint is a graduate of the John Moores University of Liverpool with a degree in Building Surveying, a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS). Geraint is also fully qualified to undertake Domestic Energy Assessments and level 3 Commercial Energy Assessments.

Geraint began his surveying career working for RW Solutions in Liverpool undertaking a wide range of Building Surveying matters and specialising in dilapidations. In June 2007 Geraint joined McCartneys as part of the Planning and Survey Department in Kington and has since specialised in all things Building Surveying on residential, commercial and agricultural matters. His other specialisms include Planning Matters, Building Regulations, Domestic and Commercial Energy Assessments and Land surveys.

Geraint is a local lad and is a farmerโ€™s son from Tregynon, where he enjoys helping out on the farm.

Having grown up in the Welshpool area Adam has been working for McCartneys since 2015 with almost 10 years of experience in property sales. He has a real passion for perfection when presenting a property ensuring his clients sell their home for the maximum possible value. Adam is also a qualified mortgage advisor and in his spare time enjoys playing golf, watching football and taking his spaniel Mabel for long countryside walks.

Danielle Allison

Danielle started her career in estate agency when she joined McCartneys in 2017 after finishing sixth form. Since then she has become a member of the National Association of Estate Agents and a member of the Association of Residential Lettings Agents. Danielle mainly specialises in residential sales and operates the Fine & Country brand throughout Mid Wales. In 2022 Danielle was delighted to be made office manager of the Welshpool office and hopes to continue the success the office has had over recent years alongside the rest of the Welshpool team. Having always lived locally, Danielle has an excellent knowledge of the area. Outside of work, Danielle enjoys spending time with her family and friends, going to the gym and getting out in the countryside.

Katie Davies

Katie joined McCartneys in August 2008 following graduating from Harper Adams University College with a First Class Honours Degree in Rural Enterprise and Land Management, and became a Partner of McCartneys in January 2017. Katie is a qualified member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyor (MRICS), RICS Registered Valuer and Fellow of the Central Association of Agricultural Valuers (FAAV). Based between our Knighton and Welshpool offices Katie undertakes Rural Professional work across Mid Wales and the Borders, as well as being an auctioneer at Knighton Livestock Market. Katieโ€™s daily work includes sales and lettings of land, farms and rural property, valuations, landlord and tenant matters, compulsory purchase and compensation matters, Basic Payment Scheme and grant applications, planning appraisals and livestock auctioneering. Katie is a farmerโ€™s daughter originating from Llangunllo, Radnorshire. When young enough Katie was an active member of Young Farmers! She is proud to have held the position of County Chairman of Radnor Federation. Always willing to have a go she has been lucky enough to achieve success in a variety of competitions. Her proudest moments are her stock judging and public speaking successes with memorable moments including winning the Welsh Black cattle judging and dairy Holstein judging at the Royal Welsh Show, the Butchers Lambs judging at the Royal Welsh Show Winter Fair, twice winning Radnor YFC Senior Stockman of the Year and being a member of the winning Radnor YFC Senior debating team at Wales and representing the county at National. Outside of work she enjoys helping on the family farm.
