Kington is an historic Market Town on the English/Welsh border and was originally referred to as ‘Chingtune’ in the Doomsday Book of 1086. The River Arrow is situated on the south side of the town.

Cull Ewe, Store Cattle, Horse & Fine Art/ Furniture Auctioneer Tom Pritchard started working as part of the team at Brecon 4 years ago alongside completing a degree in agriculture at Gelli Aur College, Camarthen. He started at McCartneys as a general yard worker/drover before beginning to sell a small amount of furniture and antiques under the watchful eye of Richard Gwilliam. From there, he never looked back and started selling the cull ewes, breeding sheep, store cattle and also horses and ponies. During his spare time, he farms at home on my family farm where they keep suckler cows and a small number of breeding ewes.
