Ludlow is an historic Market Town perched high above the River Teme in the Welsh Marches, the ancient borderlands between England and Wales. It has been described as “an architectural gem” and the poet Sir John Betjeman described it as “the perfect historic town”
Stourport-on-Severn, with a population of over 19,000, is uniquely the only town in Britain built solely as the development and coming of the canals. Before the growth of the town there existed a small hamlet called Lower Mitton. Two black and white houses from circa 1600 can still be found in Mitton Street.
Sitting on the picturesque upper stretches of the River Severn, Newtown was founded at the end of the 13th Century but boomed and grew somewhat in the 18th and 19th centuries on the back of the textile and flannel industry and the arrival of the Montgomeryshire Canal.

The Spa town of Llandrindod Wells is the county town and administrative centre for Powys. Known locally as ‘Llandod’ it was historically the capital town of the former shire county of Radnorshire and often referred to as ‘The gateway to Mid Wales’, surrounded by breathtaking landscape and scattered with an abundance of archaeological and historical sites of interest.
Knighton, is a beautiful market town set on the Powys/Herefordshire and Shropshire borders. The Welsh name of the town is Tref-y-Clawdd, meaning the town on the Dyke
Kington is an historic Market Town on the English/Welsh border and was originally referred to as โChingtuneโ in the Doomsday Book of 1086. The River Arrow is situated on the south side of the town.
The market town of Craven Arms is located on the A49 carriageway between Shrewsbury and Hereford. The town lies in the valley of the River Onny on the edge of the Shropshire Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
The market town of Builth Wells is located amongst the unspoilt Mid-Wales countryside and truly idyllic location with many beautiful landmarks and attractions.
